The Fatal Flaw
Well, Essjay has stepped down; Jimbo has apparently ordered him to do so. It’s a pity, as he really was an extraordinarily prolific editor… although that was a rather large deception he perpetrated.
Hmm… a tragic hero with a fatal flaw… what do you do with such a person? Why, write a Greek epic tragedy about him, of course! Look out for “The Essjaiad”: coming soon to a blog post near you.
And Essjay has resigned,
For Jimbo changed his mind…
One last thing: so we shouldn’t viciously attack people when they do wrong. That doesn’t just apply to hard-working Wikipedia editors… *coughcomputergeeksattackingBillGatescough* and *coughpeoplerunningdownParisHiltoncough*. That doesn’t mean that you have to accept what they’re doing (especially in Bill’s case
)… just, please, remember to treat people with agape.

Woohoo! *sits back and waits for Oscar’s epic*
lol You know, you’d think that computer geeks would be more appreciative of what Bill Gates did for them. I mean, come on! He invented the internet, didn’t he?!
You’d think he’d be a hero or something. hehe…
Amen to your last paragraph, Oscar! *cheers* *drills into head* - agape, agape, agape, agape…

Oh, Oscar, I have a new blog, so if you would change the link from my old one to the new one, that’d be great.
My new blog is: http://faithfulsinger.blogspot.com/
Thanks a billion!

It is a shame that he has been asked/forced to leave. However you can’t blame Jimbo for wanting to make a point here that the whole lying thing won’t be tolerated.
